The adit level opposite the garage at Colby could easily be missed or even mistaken for a land drain. Known better as Clucas Way with the name painted on the right of the level, the opening extends deep into the hillside with no other purpose than to drain the mine. The men would 'meet at the Level' before walking up the track to the mine. |
