Phil 'Filo' Firth examines the mud formations in Beckwith's new day level. All of the mines across the Foxdale shear have the same influx of mud and Beckwith's is considered to be clean compared to that of Dixon's mine. Again, with the risk of bad air and the discharge of ochre into the river, the mines group have gated the entrance to the level.
